Cascadia Represent!
Jay Tripwire is back for his follow up to the Pacific Northwest Soundscapes EP he did for Viva back in 2012. Firmly rooted somewhere between tech house and deep house, Jay brings us some lovely analogue and digital sounds, combined into three stellar tracks suitable for both listening and the dancefloor. This EP may find you conjuring up images of Vangelis meets Kerri Chandler, Knights of the Jaguar, classic Detroit sounds, and much much more.
A bit on Jay:
In the 90’s a new sound appeared, a mixture of elements of Detroit inspired Techno with the tempo and rhythms of house music-it later became known as Tech House(a term coined by Mr. C).
It was the early productions of Jay tripwire that defined this as a genre, and because of this he cemented his place and paved the way for other artists to follow.
Jay has released over 300 vinyl records and hundreds of digital projects and his cumulative sales top well over 500 000 sales.
Jay has appeared on many of the finest labels in dance music, and has been an integral name into cementing new labels into existence.
He has collaborated with some of the best in the business and remixed numerous other artists.
